About Dr. Danielle Caruk, R.Ac, D.TCM

Dr. Caruk completed a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Victoria's International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM) and the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).

She also attended an extended post-graduate internship program at the Tian Jin University Hospital of TCM, mainland China. While in China she sought out and studied under experts in the fields of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Dermatology.

She has taken a specific interest in wellness for the whole family, having taken extensive courses in paediatrics, fertility, woman's health, sports therapy, diet therapy, auto-immune disorders and is committed to staying up to date on the latest treatment protocols for Eastern and Western Medicine.

She is a mother of 3 children, a wife and is a passionate naturalist, with daily tasks including: gardening, bee keeping, chicken keeping, homesteading, fermenting and researching/living the benefits of the healing properties of food.

She believes that wellness should not be complicated and by applying the timeless philosophies of Chinese Medicine, educating her patients on the benefits of preventative care and guiding them through their own healing journeys, their best 'Quality of Life' including Mind Body and Spirit can be achieved.
